Location: Must be based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

What you will do

• Craft user-focused designs for brand experiences, including article packages, landing pages, and interactive features.
• Produce platform-native social content such as carousels, GIFs, motion graphics, and short-form video.
• Create polished pre-sale mockups and concept designs to support business development.
• Design assets for live events to capture energy and extend reach across digital platforms.
• Adopt new tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to accelerate production and elevate creative quality.
• Collaborate with editors and partners to ensure design and narrative reinforce each other.

Requirements

• Must reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WA.
• 3+ years of experience in digital or interaction design.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visual communication skills with expertise in layout, hierarchy, typography, and color.
• Experience designing for social platforms and familiarity with platform-specific best practices.
• Proficiency in motion design.

• Experience in editorial, branded content, or agency environments.
