TL;DR

Strategic Sales Manager (Solar/BESS): Driving profitable business growth for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage solutions across North America with an accent on senior-level relationship management and strategic account planning. Focus on executing complex solutions selling at the executive level and aligning technology roadmaps with customer requirements.

Location: Remote (US). Must be based in the continental United States and authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship provided).

Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 TTC (Base $130k–$150k + $40k variable)

What you will do

  • Develop and manage key accounts for utility-scale PV and BESS opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build senior-level relationships with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities across the energy sector.
  • Create and execute long-term strategic plans to increase market share and maximize sales revenue.
  • Conduct complex solutions selling at the executive level to drive technology alignment.
  • Manage monthly pipeline forecasts and resolve business issues for timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with global product management, engineering, and service teams to align technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field.
  • 5-10 years of sales or business development experience in advanced technology industries.
  • Professional experience in electrical systems, solar/PV design, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex customers in cross-functional matrix environments.
  • Authorized to work in the US (No sponsorship provided: H-1B, OPT, CPT, TN, etc.).
  • Must be located within the continental United States.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or post-graduate certification in renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
