What you will do

• Serve as a core safety partner embedded across product and research teams from early design through post-launch monitoring
• Build and maintain safety infrastructure to ensure generative AI models have a positive global impact
• Design, execute, and improve red teaming systems to proactively surface harmful content and filter bypasses
• Translate ambiguous, fast-evolving policy requirements into concrete technical controls and solutions
• Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of safety-related codebases

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with production proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Ability to own systems end-to-end, including infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and incident response
• Experience working across the stack, from writing ML evaluation scripts to debugging AWS or GCP infrastructure
• Experience with data pipelines or analytics infrastructure, specifically using ClickHouse
• Strong written communication skills to document safety decisions and explain technical tradeoffs to legal and policy teams
• Comfort handling sensitive, sexual, or violent content as part of moderation tasks
