Salary: $280,000–$350,000 + equity

What you will do

• Establish the overall quality strategy, standards, and operating model for contributors and datasets.
• Build processes, metrics, and governance mechanisms to measure and scale quality continuously.
• Embed quality standards throughout the Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) lifecycle to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to operationalize quality.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows and automation to improve quality and efficiency.
• Scale the Quality function from a hands-on individual contributor role into a managed organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in quality, operations, or program management.
• Proven track record of building quality systems in complex, human-in-the-loop environments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive continuous improvement and risk identification.
• Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building systems from the ground up.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Redwood City, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling quality programs specifically for AI data or model evaluation.
• Familiarity with LLM-as-judge or other model-assisted quality review systems.
• Background in consulting, engineering, or high-precision production environments.
• Master's degree or MBA with a focus on operations or quality.
