Electronic Hardware EMC Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Assess electronic devices against EMC requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Analyze circuit diagrams, PCB designs, and mechanical designs for EMC-related issues.
• Analyze customer requirements related to electromagnetic compatibility.
• Develop EMC test plans and coordinate testing at external laboratories.
• Conduct EMC tests, analyze results, and actively support technical solution development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; a Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronic hardware design or validation, including EMC.
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English.
• Good understanding and experience in at least three relevant areas, including automotive electronics, analog circuit design, switch-mode power supplies, embedded hardware, SPICE tools, PCB layout, automotive components, or EMC testing.
• Completed military service with no remaining military service obligations.
• Willingness to travel abroad.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Master’s degree or PhD qualification.
