M&A + Strategy Associate (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Own acquisitions end to end, from target sourcing and screening through valuation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
• Evaluate which markets and business lines Fuse should enter, build, or acquire.
• Develop financial models, market analyses, and investment cases to support go/no-go decisions.
• Run workstreams, advisors, data rooms, and timelines to deliver transactions and strategic projects.
• Support post-approval integration and execute high-visibility special projects for leadership.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in M&A, investing, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, corporate development, or a similar analytical role.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently drive ambiguous problems toward clear answers and outcomes.
• Strong commercial judgement and communication skills for presenting cases to leadership.
• Detail-oriented, highly operational, and able to move quickly from strategy to implementation.
• Strong quantitative or STEM background.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or renewables.
• Experience supporting or leading acquisitions from origination through close.
• Experience with new-market entry or new business line development.
