What you will do

  • Develop and execute people strategies aligned with hirify.global News priorities and the broader people plan.
  • Lead complex transformation and organizational design programs to ensure financial sustainability and audience alignment.
  • Manage high-stakes people activities, including redundancy consultations and complex individual cases with fairness and rigour.
  • Partner with the News Board and executive leaders as a trusted strategic advisor to influence high-level decision-making.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing HR team, including those operating in globally dispersed locations.
  • Utilize people data and strategic insights to design and implement targeted organizational solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale HR transformation in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
  • Deep expertise in organizational design and workforce transformation.
  • Strong experience operating within unionized, employee relations-intensive contexts.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively at the senior and executive leadership level.
  • Strong data literacy and the ability to use insights to inform strategy.
  • Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions, managing cultural and regulatory complexity.
