What you will do

• Manage a diverse and complex caseload including Employers’ Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Professional Indemnity.
• Oversee the full claims lifecycle from initial notification through to final settlement.
• Develop and drive individual claims strategies for high-value and occasionally high-profile cases.
• Collaborate closely with policyholders, brokers, and solicitors to deliver quality outcomes.
• Handle sensitive safeguarding matters and inquests with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• Professional experience in claims handling or a legal background (solicitor / legal executive).
• Proven exposure to EL, PL, liability, personal injury, or professional negligence claims.
• Ability to manage complex cases independently with strong decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in the care sector.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Leeds office.

• Previous experience within an insurance claims environment.
• Background in care, healthcare, or handling sensitive claims.
• Exposure to multi-line insurance claims.
