What you will do

  • Review and process claims according to policy terms to ensure timely and accurate outcomes.
  • Communicate with members, providers, and underwriters to resolve queries and provide updates.
  • Verify that medical treatments meet accepted standards and costs are reasonable and customary.
  • Manage inbound communication via phone, email, and digital platforms with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain precise documentation and effectively manage individual workloads.
  • Escalate complex cases, potential fraud, or complaints to the appropriate specialized teams.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and professional under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Critical thinking and independent problem-solving mindset.
  • Based in the UK (implied by currency and bank holidays)

Nice to have

  • Background in healthcare, travel, medical, pet, or personal accident claims.
  • Familiarity with private or international medical insurance.
  • Experience managing claim reserves and producing reports.
  • Language skills in German or Spanish.
