What you will do

• Develop and optimize wet etch, chemical clean, and electrodeposition processes for wafer fabrication.
• Lead analytical testing and method development to characterize plating baths and thin films.
• Utilize electrochemical techniques like voltammetry and potentiostat measurements for process development.
• Create and maintain chemical control strategies and perform data analysis to stabilize process parameters.
• Operate and maintain analytical lab equipment such as ICP, HPLC, and UV spectroscopy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wet processes into wafer builds and resolve process excursions.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electrochemistry.
• Must have full Right to Work in the UK; visa sponsorship is only available for PhD holders.
• Hands-on experience in wet chemistry, electrochemical processes, or analytical chemistry within semiconductor environments.
• Strong understanding of aqueous chemistry, etch/clean processes, and electrodeposition systems.
• Experience with statistical experimentation (DOE) and data analysis methods.
• Ability to work in a mix of cleanroom and laboratory environments.
