What you will do

• Lead the implementation of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and execute supplier transfers to reduce net costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials and manufacturing processes without compromising quality.
• Manage supplier base reduction and consolidation by transitioning from non-strategic to strategic suppliers.
• Develop and deploy dual/multi-source supply strategies to ensure continuity of supply for key products.
• Implement lean methodologies and process optimizations to achieve cost-reduction targets.
• Drive continuous improvement within categories using strong project and change management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Ireland or the UK without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Design Engineering and R&D.
• Familiarity with VAVE tools, PPAP, and Change Management Processes (CMP).
• Proven track record in driving operational improvements and cost savings.
• Strong negotiation and program management skills.
