(SPTS division) designs and manufactures leading wafer processing solutions, including etch and deposition technologies, for the global semiconductor industry.
What you will do
- Maintain, develop, and improve PVD semiconductor process equipment hardware.
- Support the build, installation, and commissioning of both prototype and existing PVD systems.
- Plan and execute hardware testing, validation, and performance characterization.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and identify root causes for resolution.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize hardware for reliability and process capability.
- Generate engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
Requirements
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience designing, building, testing, or supporting semiconductor process equipment or complex industrial systems.
- Strong hands-on engineering and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Travel up to 40% for domestic and international business needs is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor capital equipment platforms.
- Knowledge of high-vacuum systems and RF power delivery.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering drawings.
