ME Test Engineer (Mechanical Testing)

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite laboratory role

What you will do

• Coordinate mechanical test activities with the design department and participate in project teams.
• Plan, start up, execute, maintain, and calibrate laboratory test equipment.
• Perform leakage, destructive, prototype, shape, roughness, spring-characteristic, vibration, shock, and resonance testing.
• Record and analyze mechanical measurement data and prepare test reports and customer presentations.
• Assemble and develop prototypes or subassemblies when required.
• Write and improve work instructions, procedures, and equipment specifications.

Requirements

• University degree with a relevant technical background.
• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience; internships in the relevant domain are considered.
• Ability to analyze technical customer specifications and reliability standards.
• Ability to work with laboratory test equipment and mechanical measurement data.
• Ability to work onsite in Suzhou, China.
