Product Manager (Marketplace)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Marketplace): Owning core marketplace domains such as pricing, matching, and reliability with an accent on data-driven decision-making and system architecture. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office)

Compensation: $185,000 – $275,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain mental models for marketplace domains using customer insights, support data, and internal analytics.
• Define and track key performance metrics to ensure customer needs are met.
• Steward product improvements through research, experimentation, and core flow optimization.
• Collaborate with the Applied Science team to leverage quantitative infrastructure and pricing algorithms.
• Write clear documentation to enable autonomous decision-making across engineering and leadership teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in marketplace environments.
• Ability to query data independently using SQL or equivalent tools.
• Proven track record of shipping meaningful features in fast-moving, small teams.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Must be able to work 2-3 days per week from the San Francisco or NYC office.
