What you will do

  • Manage daily operational support, including finance-related activities like accounts payable/receivable, grant reporting, and expense reconciliations.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the project management system (Asana), designing workflows and dashboards to support organizational goals.
  • Oversee the employee life cycle, including hiring, onboarding, professional development, and offboarding.
  • Lead the design and implementation of cross-functional collaboration systems and organizational operating rhythms.
  • Manage public-facing material publication processes, including quality assurance and coordination with graphic designers.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events to foster a culture of belonging and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Must be based in New York or New Jersey.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree.
  • Significant (approx. 5 years) related work experience in HR, People, or Operations.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with tools like Asana.
  • Subject-matter expertise in finance-related activities and cloud-based financial management software (e.g., Intacct).
