TL;DR

People Operations Manager (AI): Managing the full employee lifecycle and HRIS infrastructure for an AI music entertainment platform with an accent on operational scalability and workflow automation. Location: Must be based in Cambridge, MA and work in-office 5 days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $110K – $132K + Equity

What you will do

  • Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a high-quality experience at every stage.
  • Manage and evolve the HRIS, maintaining accurate records and leading system migrations.
  • Partner with Finance and People leadership on timely and accurate payroll execution.
  • Coordinate immigration processes, working with external counsel to manage visa and work authorization cases.
  • Drive system and workflow efficiencies by automating processes through AI and modern tooling.
  • Support talent planning and headcount management to maintain accurate workforce data.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, ideally in a fast-growing tech company.
  • Hands-on experience managing HRIS (e.g., Rippling, ADP, BambooHR, Workday) and ensuring data integrity.
  • Solid understanding of US employment compliance, including federal and state regulations and I-9 requirements.
  • Experience supporting immigration processes and coordinating with external legal counsel.
  • Proficiency in administering medical, parental, and other statutory leave management programs.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to build automated workflows for operational efficiency.
