What you will do

• Process new insurance policies, cancellations, and reinstatement requests according to company guidelines.
• Examine applications and correspondence to determine necessary account changes.
• Maintain accurate office records and logs for various projects.
• Transcribe data into computer systems and verify application details.
• Provide backup support for phone queues during high-volume periods.
• Collaborate with supervisors and accounting departments to ensure policy accuracy.

Requirements

• Active P&C Licenses for CA, AZ, TX & VA required.
• Minimum 1+ year of underwriting experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Strong administrative and back-end processing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Ability to interpret industry regulations and technical procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a paperless environment.
