Manager - Facilities (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Plan, prioritize, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, high-pressure compressor, chiller, and other critical mechanical systems.
• Manage facility mechanical utilities and coordinate scheduled maintenance with production and operational managers.
• Develop maintenance procedures, improve equipment and tool usage, and recommend innovations that increase system efficiency.
• Optimize maintenance resources, spending, energy consumption, and project delivery against cost and schedule estimates.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team, including staffing, performance management, technical mentoring, and resource allocation.
• Manage contractors, OEMs, service contracts, and SLAs while ensuring safe and environmentally responsible operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a multidisciplinary technical team of 7 or more staff.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC, compressor systems, compressed dry air systems, desiccant dryers, filtration, air change rates, and HVAC/chiller plants.
• Proven experience managing ISO-certified cleanrooms, including ISO Class 5–8 environments, pressure cascading, humidity, temperature, and differential-pressure control.
• Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical-system failures and improving reliability and energy efficiency.
• Experience governing Building Management Systems and complying with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, MDSAP, and GMP standards.
