What you will do
- Lead creation and evolution of an AI-forward customer experience vision and strategy for the AI Incubation Lab, defining success metrics tied to organizational business outcomes.
- Develop and teach best-in-class problem framing, experimentation, and synthesis practices using qualitative research, quantitative data, and AI-driven insights.
- Architect foundational experience frameworks, interaction patterns, and enterprise-grade design system components for rapidly evolving AI-driven products and proofs-of-concept.
- Drive high design quality through critique, mentoring, and hands-on collaboration while championing simple, elegant, and trustworthy AI-enabled workflows.
- Build an innovation-oriented design culture in the Lab and partner teams, enabling collaborative concept development, rapid prototyping, and clear communication.
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions, designing responsibly for automation, augmentation, transparency, and human oversight.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in experience design, interaction design, product design, or a closely related discipline with visible impact at product/platform/organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience applying advanced design methods to digital products and services.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two core design skills (e.g., interaction design, visual design, service design, systems thinking) and strong capability in at least two others across multiple product domains.
- Proven track record defining and driving customer experience strategy, design frameworks, and success metrics for multi-team or organization-level initiatives with senior stakeholder collaboration.
- Hands-on experience using data, customer research, and AI-driven systems/tools/workflows to inform design decisions, including applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.

Location: London, New York, Seattle, Austin, San Jose / San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Montreal (other locations up for discussion).
Salary: $224,000–$313,500 total cash range in Seattle; $242,000–$338,500 in New York; $242,000–$338,500 in San Francisco (top of range may increase based on performance).
