What you will do
- Own the North America field events strategy for the higher education segment, including trade shows, webinars, and owned experiences.
- Prioritize the events portfolio based on pipeline potential, audience fit, and business goals.
- Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including booth designers, venues, and A/V suppliers.
- Lead event planning from kickoff to post-event reporting, ensuring alignment with sales and SDR teams.
- Define success metrics for each event and provide actionable recommendations through post-event retrospectives.
- Represent the events program in leadership planning sessions and proactively manage risks.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US with comfort for significant domestic travel.
- 5+ years of experience in field events marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or higher education.
- Proven track record of managing complex event portfolios and tying investments to pipeline metrics.
- Proficiency in Asana, Google Suite, and Salesforce.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to pass a background check and verify identity/location.
