TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (Insurance): Contributing to critical financial management functions within the hirify.global USA FP&A team with an accent on expense planning, reporting, and optimization. Focus on building detailed financial models, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating with business leaders to track spending and provide financial insight.

Location: Must be based in or near West Hartford, CT. This position is hybrid and requires two (2) days in the office weekly.

Salary: $95,000–$125,000

What you will do

• Support annual business/expense planning and quarterly reforecast processes.
• Assist in month actuals reporting for senior management with financial commentary.
• Lead monthly forecasting processes through engagement with business leads.
• Create detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to track spending and identify expense risks and opportunities.
• Ensure financial data accuracy and reconciliation across various systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Accounting or Finance preferred).
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with large ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity (2 days/week in office).

Nice to have

• Experience within the P&C insurance industry.
• MBA degree.
• Experience with Hyperion tools.
