What you will do

• Scale the core cloud platform for high availability and performance globally.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver infrastructure for core and emerging products.
• Evolve backend architecture/infrastructure for both cloud and on-premise deployments.
• Define and automate developer process/workflow and prioritize an infrastructure roadmap.
• Support production systems and build monitoring and observability.
• Develop new data solutions and improve traffic routing/service architecture in multi-region setups.

Requirements

• Track record delivering engineering projects and process improvements.
• Experience scaling cloud infrastructure and relational databases (Postgres preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Linux, containers (Docker, containerd), and container orchestration (docker-compose, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Node and Postgres, plus Docker and Kubernetes in the tech stack.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and on-prem service architecture, including traffic routing in multi-region environments.
• Ability to work in an ambiguity/high-ownership environment and build cross-functional relationships.
