What you will do

• Own and execute the external communications strategy with a focus on earned media and brand positioning in the AI space.
• Drive a modern PR approach by prioritizing podcasts, speaking engagements, and creator-driven channels over traditional press releases.
• Partner with the executive team to develop sharp, credible narratives and thought leadership content.
• Manage external agencies to ensure high-quality outcomes and measurable results.
• Lead a lean team to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining high standards of quality and speed.
• Monitor the AI landscape to ensure the company's positioning remains relevant and impactful.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience in communications, PR, or content strategy.
• Meaningful experience in B2B tech or the AI industry.
• Proven track record of building executive profiles and securing coverage in new media formats.
• Strong strategic instincts with a bias toward hands-on execution.
• Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to define and track success.
• Must be able to work from the San Francisco office at least three days per week.
