What you will do

• Own the development of consumer research and trend report programs from concept to media launch.
• Partner with data, product, and category teams to surface newsworthy insights from platform behavior.
• Build a recurring content franchise to deliver original analysis on seller economics and live commerce.
• Develop press materials, pitch angles, and data-backed POVs to secure high-impact media coverage.
• Serve as the official company spokesperson for consumer trends and live shopping culture.
• Build and maintain credibility with journalists as a go-to expert on consumer behavior.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in PR, communications, economics, or journalism.
• Strong track record in developing data-driven reports and research-backed earned media programs.
• Exceptional analytical instincts with the ability to translate data into culturally relevant narratives.
• Strong media relationships across consumer, lifestyle, and tech outlets.
• Curiosity and excitement for using AI tools in research and data analysis.
• Must live within commuting distance of San Francisco, New York, Seattle, or Los Angeles.
