What you will do

• Manage press relationships globally, focusing on top US business and tech outlets, podcasts, and writers.
• Lead written storytelling by producing high-quality press releases, bylines, and core messaging for major launches.
• Develop messaging frameworks that clarify the company's category, technology, and value proposition.
• Advise CXOs on their social presence and drive executive thought leadership across DeepL's channels.
• Monitor market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for the brand to stand out.
• Protect company reputation by managing crisis communications and correcting market misperceptions.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in communications, ideally within the tech sector.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and human.
• Must be based in the US (New York).
• Ability and willingness to travel several times a year globally and across the US.
• Deep curiosity or expertise in AI and Language AI.
• Hands-on approach to creating pitches, decks, and content.
