Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct daily inspections of building and terminal construction to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports documenting construction activities, progress, and safety concerns.
• Verify contractor compliance with local jurisdiction requirements and LAWA-specific standards.
• Coordinate special inspections and testing activities with engineers and third-party agencies.
• Track time-and-material work, field changes, and job quantities.
• Assist in validating contractor progress payment requests based on the schedule of values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years of experience performing construction inspection.
• Must have 30-hour Cal-OSHA training received within the last 4 years.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including day, swing, and night.
• Must be available to work on-site at client locations in Los Angeles.

Nice to have

• ICC certifications and Deputy Inspector Licenses.
• Knowledge of LA City Building codes and ADA requirements.
• Experience inspecting large-scale airport and public building facilities.
