What you will do

• Manage airframe structural testing, including fixture and instrumentation design.
• Conduct FEM analysis and hand calculations for primary and secondary aerospace structures.
• Develop company standards for model creation, strength checks, and reporting.
• Perform stress analysis for internal loads, static, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
• Write detailed structural substantiation reports for FAA airworthiness approvals.
• Mentor junior structural analysts in stress, stability, and fracture analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (6+ years exp), Master's (4+ years), or PhD (2+ years).
• Experience in composite and metallic analysis (static and fatigue).
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Abaqus for model setup and analysis.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
• Ability to travel domestically (approximately 10%).
