What you will do

• Identify and qualify business prospects across pharma, biotech, and research institutes.
• Facilitate business meetings and present Research Chemistry Services as a solutions provider.
• Support proposal writing and lead negotiations to close growth opportunities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers to ensure stable partnerships.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
• Coordinate with internal scientific teams to provide tailored solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Western US (California preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
• 5+ years of industrial experience with a focus on business development or customer-facing roles.
• Broad understanding of drug discovery through preclinical development.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship management.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
• Early phase CMC knowledge.
