What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems for commercial and institutional facilities.
• Perform electrical load calculations and manage equipment selection and sizing.
• Edit and maintain electrical system specifications for construction documentation.
• Conduct site surveys of existing buildings to identify electrical components.
• Review equipment submittals and observe construction progress for contract compliance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Irving, TX.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical systems design for facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with MS Office and simulation software.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
