What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and own customer-facing GitHub repositories and codebases.
• Design and deploy software solutions for scientific computing and data science applications.
• Create and improve reusable AI agents, automation workflows, and community assets.
• Apply software engineering principles to address computational and research challenges.
• Engage with customers to provide technical guidance and support technical adoption.
• Follow best practices for version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience with GitHub and version control systems.
• 1–2+ years of experience with AI/LLM technologies, machine learning concepts, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, coding standards, and testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific computing or simulation-based applications.
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and AI-driven automation.
• Experience building or maintaining open-source projects.
• GitHub portfolio showcasing relevant software development projects.
