What you will do
- Call on established and prospective customers to sell products and services.
- Plan customer visits 1–2 weeks in advance and strengthen client relationships across the Greater Toronto Area.
- Act as the main point of contact for client concerns, needs, and account matters.
- Upsell and cross-sell by developing a thorough understanding of products and service offerings.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain service levels.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue projections monthly, quarterly, and annually using Salesforce.com.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Science, Chemistry, Business, or relevant equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a B2B selling role in a related industry.
- Ability to clearly articulate how proposed solutions meet client business objectives.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of contract terms, principles, and profitability calculations.
