Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the London office

What you will do

• Build successful relationships with clients to provide technical and business value in collaboration with account teams.
• Act as a technical expert in big data and AI to drive the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Design and deliver complex proofs-of-concept (PoCs) tailored to manufacturing, defence, and automotive use cases.
• Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications to scale best practices.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to foster the local Databricks community.
• Coach and mentor junior team members on technical and customer-facing skills.

Requirements

• Must be able to commute to the London office regularly.
• Hands-on experience in technical pre-sales or consultancy with a background in Data Science, ML, or Generative AI.
• Demonstrated ability to architect end-to-end Data & AI solutions including RAG, fine-tuning, and MLOps for LLMs.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with a willingness to learn or existing knowledge of Spark.
• Experience with big data analytics and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time across UK&I and EMEA.

Nice to have

• Databricks or relevant Cloud/Data certifications.
