Assistant Property Manager

TL;DR

Assistant Property Manager (Real Estate): Supporting the management of commercial, industrial, or retail properties with an accent on tenant relations, financial reporting, and lease administration. Focus on optimizing property operations, coordinating vendor payments, and ensuring contractual compliance.

Location: 100% in-office in Gainesville, FL. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option.

What you will do

• Handle tenant needs and coordinate with technical staff for prompt problem resolution.
• Review and approve vendor invoices in compliance with policies and management agreements.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports and budget packages for clients.
• Manage data collection for operating expense reconciliations (CAM/OpX).
• Perform lease administration including setup, changes, and reporting across systems.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs and participate in property walk-throughs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of financial principles and ability to conduct basic financial analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AP and CMMS systems.
