Accounts Receivable Specialist

What you will do

• Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due balances
• Perform customer credit analysis and execute collection calls, emails, and letters
• Collaborate with Circulation and Advertising Managers to escalate collection actions
• Distribute A/R aging reports and discuss critical issues with management
• Maintain the A/R collections module within the company's circulation and advertising systems
• Conduct customer revenue and A/R trend analysis to refine procedures

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls
• Proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets using formulas and 10-key data entry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Interpersonal and customer service skills for professional client communication
• GED or high school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
• Must reside in OH or CO
