Environmental Health & Safety Consultant (EHS)

Location: Must be based in the Richmond, Oakland, Hayward, or Fremont area to service clients around the Bay Area

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Conduct onsite field audits to identify non-compliant situations regarding OSHA, DOT, Fire Code, and EPA regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor accident prevention programs and safety policies to achieve zero accident goals.
• Deliver employee trainings and moderate safety committee meetings for client management teams.
• Prepare critical compliance documentation, including Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, and SPCC Plans.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with auto dealer group management and state dealer associations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Richmond, Oakland, Hayward, or Fremont area.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Studies, or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred.
• Active driver's license and insurance required for frequent day-to-day client visits and quarterly overnight travel.
• Physical ability to stand for 6+ hours per day and lift up to 20 pounds.
