What you will do

• Plan and implement EHSS policies in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations for accidents and injuries to identify root causes and eliminate hazards.
• Coordinate environmental auditing, inspections, and IH testing for stormwater, sound, and air quality.
• Act as a technical lead for specialized topics including machine guarding, LOTO, and hazardous materials transportation.
• Develop safety education, training programs, and employee involvement initiatives.
• Manage administrative documentation, including SDS and OSHA reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of direct safety responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• BS/Masters Degree in occupational health & safety, engineering, or environmental sciences.
• Must be based in or work onsite at the manufacturing site in Meridian, ID.
• Experience managing Title V air permits and stormwater/wastewater permit compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office business applications.

Nice to have

• ASP/CSP, CHMM, or PE certifications.
• Registered Environmental Manager/Professional certification.
• OSHA outreach trainer or Powered Industrial Truck trainer experience.
