What you will do

• Develop and verify safety-critical software for aircraft motor control systems in compliance with DO-178C.
• Create low-level drivers for microcontrollers to interface directly with analog and digital front-end circuitry.
• Implement fault detection and diagnostic algorithms to identify hardware-level events like short circuits and sensor failures.
• Apply digital signal processing (DSP) and filtering techniques to improve sensor data reliability.
• Analyze hardware schematics and perform initial board bring-up and debugging of new EEC hardware.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and certify complex hardware/software systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with safety-critical standards (DO-178C, ISO 26262, ASIL) to high criticality levels (DAL-A/B).
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal systems and communication protocols (CAN, RS-422/485, SPI, I2C, etc.).
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience with DO-254 and tools qualification (DO-330).
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience developing with RTOS.
• Familiarity with modeling tools like UML or SysML.
