AI Transformation Strategy Senior Director

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid-eligible with remote work permitted up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $227,200–$340,800 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise portfolio strategy for AI transformation and maintain a current view of project purpose, scope, status, timing, value, readiness, risks, and dependencies.
• Recommend which AI reinvention projects should advance and how they should be sequenced based on strategic importance, value, readiness, risk, dependencies, and organizational capacity.
• Design and facilitate investment governance processes supporting decisions to accelerate, pause, resequence, or stop work.
• Identify and manage interdependencies across projects, functions, resources, timelines, and strategic priorities.
• Build alignment among project sponsors, functional leaders, Finance, Data Technology & Engineering, Workforce Strategy & Innovation, and AI Transformation Operations.
• Provide executives with evidence-based portfolio reporting, scenarios, models, emerging risks, and recommendations for investment and resource-allocation decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, strategy, economics, engineering, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 12 or more years of experience in enterprise portfolio strategy, corporate strategy, strategic finance, investment governance, or transformation strategy.
• Experience prioritizing and sequencing complex enterprise investment portfolios or transformation programs.
• Experience designing portfolio governance and supporting senior leaders with investment, prioritization, and resource-allocation decisions.
• Strong financial and business acumen, analytical and strategic-thinking skills, executive communication, and data-storytelling ability.
• Practical fluency with AI tools and emerging AI capabilities, including responsible application to research, analysis, scenario development, and portfolio insight.
