TL;DR
Senior Benefits & Compensation Manager (HR Operations): Designing and managing equitable and competitive compensation and benefits programs for a high-growth AI music platform with an accent on cycle execution, market benchmarking, and US compliance. Focus on building scalable reward infrastructures, optimizing the employee experience, and embedding AI automation into HR workflows.
Location: Must be based in Cambridge, MA (Onsite 5 days per week). Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Own end-to-end compensation cycle execution, including market benchmarking and championing pay equity across the organization.
- Lead and manage benefits programs, including open enrollment, plan administration, and broker relationship management.
- Manage benefit audits and required legal filings such as ACA and 5500.
- Design and deliver employee-facing communications and training for compensation and benefits programs.
- Partner with Finance and Talent teams to support headcount planning, leveling, and performance management cycles.
- Develop and maintain leveling frameworks and compensation infrastructure as the company scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within a high-growth tech environment.
- Deep knowledge of US benefits plan design and compliance, including ACA, COBRA, and ERISA.
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, pay equity analysis, and market benchmarking.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear and engaging employee communications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and experience managing external vendors.
- Eligibility to work in the US is required.

- Hands-on experience with AI tools and motivation to embed automation into daily workflows.
- Ability to balance compliance rigor with the speed of a startup environment.
