What you will do

• Safeguard client data by providing superior operational support for on-premise and cloud-based data environments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data consumption issues, including fixing or enhancing code logic.
• Build and support ETL processes, data integration pipelines, and centralized historical data repositories.
• Manage batch operations, including schedulers, failure analysis, and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams and vendors while maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
• Continuously monitor environments to identify and implement operational improvements.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in Mainframe development (TSO, ZEKE, JCL, COBOL).
• Strong proficiency in ETL tools (Informatica, IDMC, MDM, AWS Glue) and SQL.
• Experience with Business Intelligence applications and reporting design.
• Must be available for 24x7 rotational support.
• Solid understanding of ITIL policies for incident, problem, and change management.

Nice to have

• AWS experience or relevant certifications.
• Experience with DevOps tools (BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Generative AI and GitHub Copilot.
