What you will do

• Drive architecture and design of powertrain test systems, integrating high-voltage bus components.
• Own end-to-end electrical and mechanical design of test enclosures and high-voltage harness systems.
• Lead technical evaluation and testing of powertrain components while managing supply chain logistics.
• Integrate and commission high-voltage testbeds, including battery emulators and dynamometers.
• Configure simulation environments and develop test system automation to monitor health and validate data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to decompose operational profiles into power requirements and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering or Physics with a proven track record in complex electrical systems.
• Deep understanding of electrical test equipment design, power switching topologies, and high-voltage systems.
• Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in software automation tools such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including building harnesses and modifying mechanical components.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace or automotive high-voltage standards like DO-160 or ISO 26262.
• Familiarity with IGBT gate drivers and solid-state relay control.
• Experience with CAD tools for electrical layout and harness design.
