TL;DR

Strategy & Operations Manager (Fintech): Managing and optimizing fraud and complaints operations for the US market with an accent on process redesign and data-driven decision making. Focus on automating workflows, reducing casework through tooling, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK (Office Tue-Thu, WFH Mon-Fri). Working hours adjusted (10am - 7pm UK time) for US time zone overlap.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end fraud and complaints function for the US market, redesigning processes from first principles.
  • Manage day-to-day fraud investigations and customer complaints to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
  • Analyze data to identify fraud patterns and complaint root causes, translating findings into recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Execute cross-functional projects with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to automate and optimize operations.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships for fraud detection and complaints handling.
  • Stay current with fraud attack vectors and regulatory developments.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull and interpret data independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle a mixed workload of structured project work and reactive case handling.
  • Must be based in London, UK.
  • Willingness to work adjusted hours (10am - 7pm UK) to provide overlap with US time zones.
