What you will do
- Lead and shape supplier relationships across contracts to ensure delivery, governance, and performance outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and Group policy frameworks.
- Develop and maintain robust exit and continuity plans to mitigate operational risks.
- Analyze complex supplier performance data to derive actionable insights and challenge outcomes.
- Collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders, including Director-level partners.
- Oversee contract activity and apply commercial judgment during negotiations to secure maximum value.
Requirements
- Proven background in end-to-end supplier management, focusing on delivery, resilience, and value.
- Experience managing contracts and providing negotiation support across all lifecycle phases.
- Experience leading small teams (2-5 people), including setting priorities and providing coaching.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of supplier governance, operational risk, and compliance requirements.
- Must be based in the UK and able to commute to the Manchester office.
