Salary: $187,000 - $225,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the program and technical lead for Body, Closures, and Chassis systems.
• Oversee BOM integrity and drive quality and cost engineering initiatives throughout the supply chain.
• Develop program schedules and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and communicate technical risks while developing strategic mitigation plans.
• Lead root-cause analysis for critical build and design issues impacting production readiness.
• Influence system designs by leading design reviews, DFMEAs, and validation programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Foster City, CA.
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of deep automotive engineering experience in Body, Closures, or Chassis design.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6, PLM/BOM management, FMEA/FTA, and project management tools.
• Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects with external suppliers.
• End-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hardware/firmware product development.
• Experience with vehicle CAN/Firmware.
