TL;DR

M&A Financial Due Diligence Specialist (Finance): Own and lead financial due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration processes for M&A activities with an accent on financial analysis, risk identification, and business plan translation. Focus on building in-house capabilities, managing cross-functional coordination, and improving financial reporting across international entities.

Location: Must be legally eligible to work from France, hybrid work format with remote flexibility but preference for in-person collaboration.

What you will do

  • Own the financial due diligence workstream end-to-end, analyzing historical financials, quality of earnings, bhirify.globalce sheet, cash flows, and working capital.
  • Translate due diligence findings into valuation outputs and support SPA negotiations ensuring financial terms are accurately reflected.
  • Lead post-merger integration finance workstream, integrating acquired entities into hirify.global's financial systems and controls.
  • Contribute to and improve financial reporting processes across international entities between deals.
  • Collaborate closely with CFO, Finance & Strategy team, and other stakeholders to drive M&A financial activities.

Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in France.
  • Full French and English fluency (C1 level) required.
  • Proven track record of owning financial due diligence end-to-end in transaction services or M&A roles.
  • Deep mastery of financial analysis in transaction contexts including quality of earnings, normalized EBITDA, working capital analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong project ownership skills with ability to coordinate multiple streams and deliver under time pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with building processes from scratch.

Nice to have

  • Experience in in-house M&A or Corporate Development teams.
  • IFRS 17 fluency relevant to insurance context.
  • Foundational exposure to tax analysis in transaction contexts.
