A leading international private-label manufacturing business backed by private equity, currently undergoing significant finance function modernization.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end financial accounting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance across multiple legal entities.
• Design and implement a structured month-end close process and governance framework.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and intercompany balance sheet management.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors and manage year-round audit readiness.
• Lead finance process redesign and serve as the Finance Lead for ERP transformation programs.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team to build accountability and clear ownership.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English and Dutch.
• Proven experience in building or transforming accounting functions and leading teams through change.
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, local GAAP, VAT compliance, and transfer pricing.
• Demonstrable experience with ERP implementations, finance process redesign, and system migrations.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Ability to operate strategically and operationally within a private equity-backed environment.

Nice to have

• French language proficiency.
• Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Goods sectors.
