What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks and testing strategies for complex features.
• Own the automation roadmap for modules, defining strategic goals and success metrics.
• Build and maintain functional, performance, and security automation tools integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure comprehensive coverage and reliable releases.
• Provide technical mentorship to SDETs and engineers to elevate automation design and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SDET roles, automation engineering, and quality tooling.
• Strong command over algorithms, data structures, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java).
• Deep expertise in API and backend testing, including experience with AWS and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance engineering, and observability platforms.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development and automation tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and located in or willing to work from New York or Pittsburgh.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native QA automation architecture.
• Working knowledge of event-driven systems and distributed test environments.
• Exposure to AI-powered testing platforms, autonomous QA agents, or LLM-assisted workflows.
