Google Cloud Engineer, Senior (GCP)

Location: Remote (US). Secret clearance is required.

Salary: $86,900.00 – $198,000.00

What you will do

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable and efficient environments.
• Design and deploy solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for secure government environments.
• Automate the provisioning of GCP resources, including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud SQL.
• Manage code using Git or GitLab within a collaborative team setting.
• Implement networking configurations, including DNS, load balancing, VPCs, and TLS.

Requirements

• Secret clearance is required.
• Must be based in the USA.
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform and 2+ years with GCP.
• Experience building software solutions for secure government cloud environments.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of software engineering experience (or HS diploma/GED and 8+ years).

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing workloads specifically on GCP.
