Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP): Building and supporting cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines with an accent on Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform. Focus on automating infrastructure via IaC, optimizing GKE clusters, and developing internal platform components.

Location: Must be based in Ukraine (Remote/Hybrid options in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Odesa)

What you will do

• Maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Develop and update CI/CD pipelines for development teams.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, specifically focusing on GKE cluster maintenance.
• Build internal developer tools and platform components.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud Operations.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and improve operational workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with production Kubernetes environments, specifically GKE.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage.
• Understanding of microservices and cloud-native concepts.
• Experience with VPC and load balancers.
