Salary: $130,000–$170,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, VNets, and PaaS services.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines within GitLab.
• Ensure system compliance with federal standards such as NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP.
• Collaborate with security and program staff to support cloud modernization efforts.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance or higher is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for federal contract compliance.
• Must be able to commute to Washington, D.C. and work on-site 4 days per week.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience managing CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DoD or civilian federal agency cloud programs.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
• Knowledge of Azure serverless services such as Functions or Logic Apps.
• Experience with FinOps or Azure Cost Management.
